Founded on a commitment to prevent loss, promote safety, and strengthen the insurance profession, what began as the Tulsa Insurance Board, Inc. has grown into what is now the Independent Insurance Agents of Greater Tulsa, Inc. (IIAGT). While our name changed in 1964, our founding principles remain the same: supporting independent agents and advancing the communities we serve.

Today, IIAGT fulfills its mission by:

• Providing strong educational programs for insurance professionals and the public
• Supporting meaningful civic and community initiatives
• Building and maintaining vital industry relationships
• Collaborating with state and national associations to better serve and develop our members

For much of our history, membership was reserved exclusively for independent agents. Over time, we have recognized the value of welcoming carrier partners, company representatives, and industry vendors into our meetings. These relationships strengthen our network and enhance the experience for all involved.
